Andrew was raised in Southeast Kansas and attended Pittsburg State University, where he received a Bachelors in Political Science. Following graduation, he attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis, where he met his wife, Allison.  After law school, Andrew worked for firms in the Kansas City area, focusing first on complex civil litigation and then representing businesses in employment related disputes.

In 2018 Andrew joined the firm and relocated to St. Joseph. He has devoted his practice to assisting clients in all aspects of their estate planning and business needs, including preparing estate plans for clients, assisting in administration of estates and trusts, and representing clients in many types of litigation including employment, business, property, and estate disputes.  In all of these instances, his focus has been on providing client-focused, effective, and nuanced counsel to address and respond to the unique factors of each such situation.

Throughout his practice, Andrew has focused on the importance of providing clients with guidance through the complexities of litigation and providing a steady hand during what for many is their first and only interaction with the legal system or legal processes.

During his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, reading, and exploring his passion for food and cooking.  Andrew has served as President of the Downtown Rotary Club #32 and a judge for the Cotillion for Excellence, as well as supporting numerous other local charitable causes through his time and resources.
