Andrew’s interest in the field of law can be tracked all the way back to his debate and forensics classes at Fort Scott High School. Determined to pursue his passion for law in college, Andrew went on to study political science at Pittsburg State, where he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society. Instrumental in starting the college’s first political science club, Andrew was selected his senior year to travel to St. Louis as a member of the Pittsburg State delegation at the Midwest Model UN.
Especially drawn to classes in logic and political philosophy for their direct relevance to arguing and their thoughtful approach to the way laws work, Andrew graduated from Pittsburg State University with a major in Political Science and a double minor in Philosophy and Economics. From there he went on to receive his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Dedicated to guiding clients through potentially unfamiliar or intimidating situations, Andrew understands the importance of explaining what’s happening, why it’s happening, how a client can protect themselves and how they can accomplish their goals. His experience includes toxic tort litigation, employment discrimination and business litigation.
Newly married and a self-professed “foodie,” Andrew enjoys spending free time cooking and baking with his wife, Allison. He is an active member of the St. Joseph Downtown Rotary Club.
