Banking

The last few years have been tumultuous ones in the banking industry. The financial institutions we represent are part of the solution, not part of the problem.

They play a vital role in the lives of their communities, and facilitating that role is important to the financial well-being of everyone in the community.

We represent financial institutions in matters such as:

  • Secured Lending – Assisting financial institutions with proper documentation of perfected security interests, whether real or personal property, including preparation of promissory notes, deeds of trust, security agreements, and other financing documents.
  • Work outs – Assisting financial institutions that are working with their customers to restructure debt and avoid foreclosure by modifying existing loan terms.
  • Foreclosures – Seeing the foreclosure process through from demand and acceleration of the note balance through sale on the courthouse steps; experienced in both judicial and non-judicial foreclosure.
  • Collections – Helping financial institutions to recover on bad loans by obtaining judgments and garnishments.
  • Bankruptcy – Representing lenders as creditors in Chapter 7, 11, or 13 bankruptcy cases filed by their borrowers.
